"Not your mama or grandma's split pea soup!"
1 bag organic split green peas, 16 oz
4 carrots, quartered and chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 large onion, diced
1” – 2” tumeric root
3 – 4 cloves fresh garlic
2” – 3” piece kombu sea vegetable
Cayenne pepper & fresh ground pepper, to taste
5 leaves Swiss chard
2 leaves collard greens
Serving suggestions: Drizzle with herb infused olive oil, sprinkle with smoked paprika or hemp seeds.
Green Split Peas are high in Potassium and Iron and Fiber.
Onions are also high in Potassium and help to push toxins out of the body.
Greens provide added Vitamin A, C, E, K, Calcium & Magnesium.
